Boundary Marker, 2022

Plaster, concrete, burlap, chicken wire, steel, paint, fabric

80 in x 36 in x 48 in

This work imagines the body as building material. Positioned in a stack, the body actualizes a conceptual distinction between two spaces. This form is also reminiscent of stone stacking practices, which are meant to convey balance and inner peace, though the pop surfaces and bulging forms create a sensorial experience.
